Meet Citizen Four - CelebMix

There’s a new boy band on the scene. Island Records revealed the newest act to be signed to their label a few days ago – Citizen Four.

The band, made up of YouTube star and X Factor USA finalist Josh Levi, Austin Percario and brothers Carson and Conner Boatman are the latest in bands made up of boys to hit the music scene.

The four piece introduced themselves with a cover of Rihanna’s ‘Needed Me’ over on their brand spanking new YouTube channel.

They’re signed to Island Records, who are under the Universal Music Group umbrella and home to the likes of Nick Jonas and Shawn Mendes. If that, plus their cover is anything to go by, we can expect big things from these guys in the future.

Their cover doesn’t reveal much about what to expect from them musically as a band but they definitely give off a male Fifth Harmony vibe and that’s enough to get us excited about them!

Josh Levi has previously had a recurring role in ‘Friday Night Lights’ before appearing as a finalist in the X Factor. Just last year he toured with Aaron Carter.

He’s joined in Citizen Four by another X Factor hopeful, Austin Percario who has also appeared on American Idol. The group is completed by brothers Carson (who’s been in a few movie shorts and has some upcoming acting projects according to IMDb) and Conner.

Dallas Lovato, sister of Demi has been giving them a lot of promo since they were introduced as well, which has no doubt been a big help in getting their name out there.
