Fake video goes viral of 'Jake Paul' getting rocked, but it's not actually him

Jake Paul is facing online mockery for being badly hurt in a clip which doesn't actually even feature him.

A video, seemingly from Russia, has gone viral and shown two men fighting with boxing gloves while fully clothed and on stage during an event.

One of the men looks like Jake and so has been mistaken for the American.

In the clip, the doppelganger is smashed by a hard shot which leaves him on unsteady legs.

He staggers around the stage after being badly hurt and the spar is then broken up.

The video has subsequently gone viral with millions of views as it has been shared again and again.

On multiple occasions, it has been posted with claims that Jake is actually the man in the video and many people are taking this seriously.

In truth however, this is not the case.

In Jake Paul's actual fighting career, he stands today with a professional record of 6-0 (4 KOs).

The 25-year-old stopped Deji in a white collar bout back in 2018, then turned pro with two fights in 2020.

Next, he KOd former NBA star Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr.

In 2021, Jake had three fights as he KOd ex-UFC fighter Ben Askren before then being genuinely rocked for the first time in his career by former champion Tyron Woodley.

Despite this moment of jeopardy, the American beat Woodley on points and then KOd him in a rematch four months later.

This year has been frustrating for Jake with failed attempts to make fights with Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr stunting his progress.

He did return in October though and beat UFC legend Anderson Silva on points to cement his record of 6-0.
